13. All the Rugrat babies are dead besides Dil
According to this theory, all of the Rugrat babies except for Dil are dead. Angelica Pickles had imagined the babies which is why she is the only one who can talk to them. In some versions, this is because Angelica feels neglected by her parents and in other versions Angelica has schizophrenia and the babies are hallucinations. According to the theory, Chucky died in childbirth with his mother, which is why Chaz is a nervous wreck. Tommy was stillborn, which is why Stu spends most of his time making child’s toys, to cope with the loss. Phil and Lil were a child of an unknown gender but was aborted by their parents.
12. Spongebob died in the first movie
Spongebob had been on TV for years, but over the last few years, it has been noticed that he seems different. Spongebob comes across as more childish and less comedic. The change was pinpointed back during the Spongebob Squarepants Movie when Spongebob and Patrick had been dried out but brought back to life by their tears. Danny Fenton was an average kid until he decided to explore one of his parents machines where his ‘molecules got all rearranged.’ According to one theory in the show Danny Phantom, Danny Fenton did not actually become a ghost crime fighter, but instead fell into a coma after the accident that occurred in the machine. The ghosts he fights throughout the show are instead aspects of his personality. An example being Vlad Plasmius represents Danny’s resentment towards his parents for the accident that has led him into the coma. The fights between his parents and Danny Phantom’s ghost represent the debate on whether or not to pull the plug on Danny.
9. Krabby Patties are made from crabs
One of the biggest mysteries in Spongebob Squarepants is what is Krabby Patty’s secret formula. Have you ever noticed that crabs are pretty rarely seen in the entirety of the show? This theory suggests that the Krabby Patty is made with crabs. While in Seattle Crazy Steve changed their names and gave them backstories to hide from the police. The end of iCarly represents Megan/Carly’s father finding and saving her from Crazy Steve.
7. Bikini Bottom is the result of Nuclear Testing
This Spongebob Theory states that Bikini Bottom was located under Bikini Atoll, The Marshall Island Atoll. It was in this location that the US government had 23 nuclear tests performed during the Cold War. Spongebob and his friends would be mutations who had been created by nuclear waste from above. This theory would also explain why the community sends letters to each other and dress like they are from the 1950s.
6. Dexter’s Laboratory created Dexter’s Family
In this fan theory, Dexter’s family was killed in one of his experiments that had gone wrong. To make up for the loss of his real family, Dexter recreates his family and their personalities using his lab. The theme song of the show proposes that Dee Dee often blows up Dexter’s experiments, followed by gloom and Dexter having the ability to create clones.
5. Ed, Edd N Eddy live in Purgatory
In the show Ed, Edd N Eddy, kids are going on adventures in the neighborhood they live in and NO adults are insight. The theory suggests that all of the kids in that cul-de-sac are dead and trapped in Purgatory. Each child on the cul-de-sac is from a different era of history. All the children “live” together in Purgatory occasionally being annoyed by the ‘Demonic’ Kranker sisters.

In Shaggy’s drug-induced delusions, Shaggy’s dog who had recently died is alive and able to talk. The three people who bully him on a daily basis (Velma, Freddy, and Daphne) are his friends and to avoid others feeling the same pain he does they all stop crime together. The aftereffect of these drugs would give him the ‘munchies’ which is why he eats so much.
3. Steve from Blue’s Clues has a Drug Problem
The famous childhood show Blue’s Clues revolves around Steve and his dog Blue. Steve throughout the show is solving mysteries by looking for clues left by his dog Blue. Steve in the show is talking to numerous inanimate objects including Mailbox, Mr. Salt, and Mrs. Pepper. One theory states that Steve is actually using Hallucinogenic drugs which would explain the talking objects and the jumping through paintings. Furthering this theory the children’s voices heard in the background of the show is either a child or younger relative that is being neglected due to Steve’s drug use.
